Mentors

TasMen Mentors

TasMen Mentors are experienced men willing to share their wisdom, skills and passion to support the personal growth of the wider TasMen community.

These mentors can help in:

  • setting up, running and enriching men’s groups

  • up skilling and training in facilitation, ritual and holding space

  • teaching how to and supporting themed ‘mini–gatherings’ to go deeper

  • providing specific processes to re-energise, and challenge men’s work in a group setting.

  • reviewing, mentoring and supporting men’s groups when requested.

Costs

Most men are volunteers. Some financial support may be requested by the mentor to cover some costs (fuel, any materials, accommodation). Any costs are negotiated between the Mentor and the group requesting their service. TasMen will not be responsible for any aspect of the fees for service or collection of fees.

What does “Mentoring” mean?

Mentors have a minimum of five years working /serving /contributing to TasMen annual men’s gatherings and special events. They have experience and training in process, facilitation, holding space, and / or can bring specific skills in enriching men’s experiences during men’s work. Mostly the Mentors will engage as experienced TasMen.
